Summer in Bristol is about to get a whole lot more exciting, thanks to a new alfresco cinema and dining experience – welcome to Dinema!
Taking place at The Memorial Stadium from 14th – 16 July, film and food lovers will be able to take advantage of the best street food and drink that the city has to offer; whilst classic films will be screened outside in the open air.
The event kicks off with family-friendly film ‘Sing’ at 4pm on Friday 14th, followed by an evening showing of ‘The Blues Brothers’ at 7pm. ‘Grease’ will grace the big screen on Saturday night, with ‘Wayne’s World’ completing the line up on Sunday 16th (schwing!). Tickets to the three main screenings will cost £14.95 and are over-18 only, whilst tickets to the family film will cost £4.95 and is open to all ages.
Running alongside the event will be the street food market and bars. As well as being open during the evening whilst the films are showing, they will also be serving all day Saturday and Sunday and entry during the daytime is free. You can expect to see stalls from the Bristol Beer Factory, Flipside Cocktail Club and lots of other local favourites – however all the vendors will be announced closer to the event. There will also be live music, so you can bank on a wonderful atmosphere.
Dinema aims to showcase Bristol’s finest independent suppliers at this special event and what better way to enjoy them whilst watching a classic movie! We all know that cinema and snacks go hand in hand (and this way, you won’t need to bankrupt yourself like you would at the local Vue/Odeon – soz not soz).
Party time, excellent, woo woo woo woo woo!
