Bristol in the Sky Restaurant line up revealed!

Further to the exciting announcement that Bristol in the Sky is due to take place in our city from 7th – 10th September, it has now been revealed which restaurants will be providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon/evening drinks on the dining platform which will be suspended 100ft into the air.

The Breakfast Partners come in the form of Italian food offering Rosemarino; established Bristol Good Food award winners (taking home the accolade for best breakfast 3 times thus far) and ever popular with those who enjoy brunch.

Lunch and dinner partners are the Second Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols, Henry’s and Romy’s Kitchen.

Romy Gill MBE of Romy’s Kitchen is delighted to be involved as a lunch and dinner partner. She comments, “I like to take challenges in my life and cooking 100ft in the air is definitely one of them. For me, it’s about showing people my journey of food and bringing it to them at the table. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the experience in Bristol, and can’t wait for you to taste my menu”.

I recently visited Romy’s Kitchen in Thornbury for the first time last week, and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. Those booking on for her seating’s are really in for a gastronomic treat.

Louise McCrimmon, of Second Floor restaurant also says “I’m delighted to be working with Bristol in the Sky this year showcasing the best of what the Second Floor restaurant has to offer. Expect some of the best of the South West with a starter featuring Brixham crab and the main some fantastic organic lamb from Stream Farm. Bristol is such a great city with its growing food scene; I’m really looking forward to it. See you up there.”

There will also be afternoon and evening drink sittings, with Her Majesty’s Secret Service serving up their signature unique cocktails on the evening flights and Swoon Gelato hosting in the afternoon.
