Bristol in the Sky

Bristol in the sky 2017

An exciting new dining experience is set to come to Bristol in 2017 where guests are able to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in an open air restaurant, situated 100 feet from the ground.

Events in the sky has been hugely popular in London since its launch in 2014 and now they are coming to Bristol next year to treat foodies to dinner with a view!

Bristol restaurants will be getting involved in this one of a kind culinary experience where diners will take their seats to be joined by their fellow guests, head chef, sommelier and waiting staff before being launched into the air on a mobile crane. The restaurant will run from the 7th to 10th September 2017 at the Waterfront Square next to the Lloyds Amphitheatre. With 9 sittings per day, guests have the choice of breakfast (£50), lunch (£125), dinner (£150), afternoon drinks (£75) and evening drinks (£75).

The full restaurant line up will be unveiled in February 2017 and each Head Chef will serve a menu of signature dishes. This promises to be an unforgettable eating experience.

Tickets are now on sale and can be found here – just try not to drop your cutlery!

We did this in Brussels four years ago. It’s definitely an interesting experience, as long as you have a head for heights. Wouldn’t want to eat all my meals this way, though.
